Bakrol Gam Samaj ANNUAL GATHERING YEAR 2020, 2021, 2022 

 

Due to Covid-19 outbreak and government shutdown, no 2020 gathering was held. 
Government covid restrictions were relaxed in month of JULY 2021, and further restrictions were removed in AUGUST 2021 where indoor gathering of 400 persons would be allowed to participate.

President &secretary called urgent committee members meeting to discuss whether to have 2021 gathering, at the meeting it was agreed to have gathering depending on the availability of hiring our centre hall, after contacting AML BOARD, the earliest date available was 18 December 2021, this was accepted.
This was a very short time, but we proceeded, and invitations letters were sent out with closing date of RSVP OF 11 DECEMBER 2021, we had a very good response and approx. 260 RSVP were received, so we proceeded with all preparation.
As time near our due date approached about 50 cancellation was received this could be due cold weather or afraid of covid, on the day of the function the proceeding was slow and as the event continue, we had about 180 persons attending.
As previous sponsorer agreed that they will honour their commitment of 2020, the function was smaller than previous year but enjoyed by everyone and at the end of the function, the same sponsorer again agreed to sponsor the year 2022 annual function, the sponsors list as below:

2022 function was held on 8th October at our centre, nearly 450 people attended and was enjoyed by everyone.
